Manchester, Tennessee. Est. day one.
A celebration of five years brewing in Manchester, Tennessee. Featuring "Common John" by the Manchester band that gave us our name, a journey through our evolution, and voices from our community at The Last Beerfest On Earth (2025).
Common John Brewing Co. is a craft brewery rooted in Manchester, Tennessee. We bring good beer and good people together, believing there's nothing greater than gathering over a tasty brew. We support our local community and have a good time every step of the way.
We didn't set out to change the craft beer world — we set out to make something worth drinking with people worth knowing. That's still the whole idea. Every batch we brew, every pint we pour, every person who walks through our door is a part of that mission.
Beer is better shared. We exist to bring good people together — around the bar, on the patio, at the table. Community isn't a marketing word for us. It's the whole point.
Every recipe we brew has been formulated, refined, and perfected. We don't rush the process and we don't cut corners. You'll taste the difference every single time.
We make our own rules and pave our own way. Always have. We answer to our community, our craft, and our conscience — not a corporate playbook.
If it isn't fun, what's the point? We take the beer seriously. We don't take ourselves too seriously. Come as you are. Stay as long as you want.
